We offer a comprehensive array of services, including residence, medical care, therapy, education, and vocational training, all underscored by a commitment to inclusion, independence, and dignity to the most abandoned and financially vulnerable children with disabilities. We strive to facilitate the integration of individuals who are under our care. Our mission operates through two distinct units: St. Joseph’s Special School for children with the learning disabilities St. Joseph’s Adult Home for persons with disabilities. We extend our reach to 12 villages surrounding our community, where residents face severe hardships such as the absence of proper roads, transportation, electricity, clean drinking water, and medical services. These villages are situated within a 30-kilometer radius of Soosai Thottam. We have 20 individuals with mental disabilities and 15 with physical disabilities who have been abandoned, confined to rooms, and left without adequate clothing, merely waiting for the end of their lives. Their parents, who are often living below the poverty line with daily wages ranging from 2 to 4 USD. They are unable to care for them due to the overwhelming burden they endure as impoverished families. We provide daily transportation and care for these individuals, ensuring they receive the dignity of attending school alongside other children. The joy and sense of dignity they experience as they engage in education are profound and transformative. "Share! Care! Cure!" is our guiding mantra for the children under our care. We offer adoption and shelter to homeless or abandoned children with disabilities within our residence. Currently, we provide care and rehabilitation for 35 children.A.
